Add another name to the roster in Vegas as George McPhee and the Golden Knights have announced that they’ve selected centerman Erik Haula from the Minnesota Wild in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft.
The draft, currently ongoing as part of the NHL Awards show in Las Vegas, stipulates that teams may only protect a maximum of 10 skaters and 1 goaltender and evidently Haula didn’t make the cut for the Wild.
In 266 career NHL games, he has produced 42 goals and 89 points. He put up 15 goals and 26 points in 72 games, last season.
