Add another name to the roster in Vegas as George McPhee and the Golden Knights have announced that they’ve selected centerman Oscar Lindberg from the New York Rangers in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft.
The draft, currently ongoing as part of the NHL Awards show in Las Vegas, stipulates that teams may only protect a maximum of 10 skaters and 1 goaltender and evidently Lindberg didn’t make the cut for the Rangers.
In 134 career NHL games, he has produced 21 goals and 48 points. He put up eight goals and 20 points in 65 games, last season.
