Add another name to the roster in Vegas as George McPhee and the Golden Knights have announced that they’ve selected defenceman Marc Methot from the Ottawa Senators in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft.
The draft, currently ongoing as part of the NHL Awards show in Las Vegas, stipulates that teams may only protect a maximum of 10 skaters and 1 goaltender and evidently Methot didn’t make the cut for the Sens.
In 579 career NHL games, he has produced 21 goals and 99 points. He put up 12 points in 68 games, last season.
