Add another name to the roster in Vegas as George McPhee and the Golden Knights have announced that they’ve selected defensemen David Schlemko from the San Jose Sharks in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft.
The draft, currently ongoing as part of the NHL Awards show in Las Vegas, stipulates that teams may only protect a maximum of 10 skaters and 1 goaltender and evidently Schlemko didn’t make the cut for the Sharks.
In 360 career NHL games, he has produced 17 goals and 87 points. He put up two goals and 16 points in 62 games in 2016-17.
