Add another name to the roster in Vegas as George McPhee and the Golden Knights have announced that they’ve selected defenceman Luca Sbisa from the Vancouver Canucks in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft.
The draft, currently ongoing as part of the NHL Awards show in Las Vegas, stipulates that teams may only protect a maximum of 10 skaters and 1 goaltender and evidently Sbisa didn’t make the cut for the Canucks.
In 465 career NHL games, he has produced 16 goals and 88 points. He put up two goals and 13 points in 82 games in 2016-17.
