Frustrated Bruins prospect announces he's leaving the organization.
Keystone Press.

The Bruins have lost what by all accounts appears to have been a promising young prospect after several complaints from the young man and his agent went ignored by the club.

The prospect, 22 year old Russian forward Alex Khokhlachev has made the decision to leave the Bruins organization, instead opting to sign with SKA of the Kontinental Hockey League as per a report from Russian reporter Igor Eronko.

Khoklachev had made his desire to play more minutes in the National Hockey League clear earlier this year, and with his production in the American Hockey League at over a point per game, in his fourth season with the Providence Bruins, it's easy to see why the young man felt frustrated.

In total he appeared in 9 NHL games spread out over three seasons with the Bruins and this was likely the primary motivating factor in his decision to leave for the KHL. Through his agent Khokhlachev appeared to place the majority of the blame for his limited play on head coach Claude Julien.
