Galchenyuk moving back to an Eastern team?!

On the move again, it seems…

The Arizona Coyotes have been looking to shake up their roster and might have found a trade partner willing to do the same in the New York Islanders.

However, the latest rumour appears to hint at forward Alex Galchenyuk moving again, coming back East as the Isles are reportedly interested in his services.

It remains to be seen what would be the return price from the Islanders to get Galchenyuk.

When he was traded last summer to Arizona, the Montreal Canadiens managed to get Max Domi in return. He ended up becoming the Habs’ points leader in 2018-19, tallied 28 goals and 72 points in 82 games.

The Habs were the clear winners in that trade, seeing that Galchenyuk was sidelined with injuries and managed to record 19 goals and 41 points in 72 contests.

The Islanders probably won’t have to part with as big of a piece as Domi to land Galchenyuk’s services this summer.
