The Chicago Blackhawks are in Toronto to play the Maple Leafs tonight at the Air Canada Center. Joel Quenneville’s players hit up the ice earlier today for the morning skate and one valuable veteran was missing from the group.

Marian Hossa was not on the ice with his teammates this morning.

An early report from Chris Johnston, Sportsnet senior hockey writer, confirmed that Marian Hossa is out for the Blackhawks tonight with a lower-body injury. It is not considered serious, per coach Joel Quenneville.
