After an optional gameday skate in Washington, D.C. that didn’t include Sidney Crosby, Carl Hagelin, Evgeni Malkin or Phil Kessel, Pittsburgh Penguins head coach Mike Sullivan joked that his “entire lineup is a gametime decision.”

Due to injuries, linemate chemistry and implementation of coaching strategy, Sullivan has been judicious with his roster decision this postseason. He hinted at another big change for the Penguins tonight as they prepare for game 2 agains the Washington Capitals.

By HBK, Sullivan of course is referring to the line of Hagelin, Nick Bonino and Kessel. It’s a line that wreaked havoc on the opposition last season and the trio played an enormous part in the team’s 2015-16 Stanley Cup championship. Sullivan stopped short of confirming that the line will be back together for tonight’s game, in fact it’s been speculated that Hagelin could still be out past tonight’s game.
