Gameday Report: Two Impact Players Missing at Morning Skate Today

The Chicago Blackhawks were holding a morning skate before facing the New York Islanders tonight. A report from Hawks’ insider Tracey Myers suggests that either Nick Schmaltz or Niklas Hjalmarsson is on the ice this morning.

Mark Lazerus specified that on Schmaltz’s case it’s due to sickness, nothing major.
