Getting Creative With Goalie Pads

Goaltenders have a little leeway when it comes to personalizing their protective gear. They can choose the colors of their pads and blockers, and often have custom designs printed on their helmets.

One player took it to another level. Adam Henrique of the New Jersey Devils took it upon himself to design backup goalie Keith Kinkaid’s pads, and the results were hilarious to say the least.

The forward cropped an image of teammate Stephen Gionta’s face onto an infamous Seinfeld moment:
