GM Calls Out Entire Team Publicly After Trade Deadline

Last night, when Montreal GM Marc Bergevin met the press, many insiders questioned him on Nathan Beaulieu. The answer from Bergevin was brutal, to say the least, and will likely shatter the confidence of the young defenseman.

Well, another GM went out last night after the trade deadline and called out his entire team for not being good enough. He was asked if he could have done more at the trade deadline to help his team.

“If the blame is all me, it’s all me and I’m good with that. But I think the players have to take responsibility for that, too.” Said Buffalo Sabres Gm Tim Murray.

“We go out West and we just can’t play. That to me is squarely on the players,” Murray said. “There was no less preparation by our coaching staff. There was no less working by the coaching staff. We didn’t fly to Denver and go and get drunk for three days.
