It appears that a National Hockey League general manager is preparing to make another big move.

After trading away goaltender Ben Bishop over the week-end it looks like Tampa Bay Lightning general manager Steve Yzerman may have more cards to play, and if today's roster movement is any indication, he may play them very soon.

A report from Syracuse Hockey has revealed that Tampa Bay is currently carrying three extra forwards on it's roster with two players being called up today and a third claimed on waivers, but the Lightning currently aren't dealing with any injuries. The obvious speculation here points to Yzerman loading him his roster as he prepares to move guys out to rival teams.

It's unclear what the Lightning GM is up to at this time, but Syracuse Hockey is very much on top of the news cycle Lightning's minor league affiliates so if they expect something is coming you should as well.
