GM threatens to trade his player if he doesn’t put up points!

The season has yet to start and already some general managers expect their players to make it or break it... 

Vegas Golden Knights GM George McPhee expects A LOT for his team's inaugural season, and even more from one of his star players. In the expansion draft, the Knights landed forward James Neal, who recorded 23 goals last season with the Nashville Predators. 

McPhee has made it more than clear for Neal. This season is a chance for him to put up points to show if he wants to be extended in Vegas or if he is playing to get a contract with another NHL club. 

Neal could end up on the trading block around the Deadline if he does not meet his GM's expectations. 

In 70 games with the Preds last year, Neal racked up 41 points, and added six goals and three assists in 22 playoff games.
