This story has been a big one and we have reported many different parts of it.

The newest part of the story is how Craig Anderson paid respect to his wife during the warm-up. Tonight is "Hockey fights Cancer" night in the NHL, which obviously holds a lot of importance to Anderson and his family with his wife having recently been diagnosed with Cancer.

Buffalo and Ottawa both wore the purple versions of their jerseys during warm-up on behalf of the event. Anderson even went a step further, he changed his number and wore the number "23" on behalf of his wife. It is her favorite number so he decided he would show how much he is thinking of her during this tough time.

It was a great moment and a lot of the players were touched by it. As tough as it is for the Anderson family right now, the Sens organization and the NHL have really come together. Other players around the NHL were shown holding signs of "who they fight for" and many players had Nicholle Anderson's name on their sign.
