With the Nashville Predators facing the possibility of a 3-0 deficit to the defending Stanley Cup Champion, the team took control of their destiny and delivered one heck of a counterpunch with last night’s 5-1 victory at Bridgestone Arena. With the series now 2-1 in Pittsburgh’s favor and game 4 slated for Monday evening in Nashville, the Preds carry all the momentum.

Last night’s victory elevates Nashville’s record to 8-1 on home ice this postseason and is further proof that the team thrives within the confines of Bridgestone Arena. The team’s fanbase, nearly 20,000 strong inside the building with up to 40,000 strong outside the building, did not make things easy on the visitors by hurling chants and insults their way at every opportunity. There’s no doubt that Nashville is a hockey market unlike any other and celebrates the game in only a way that they can.
