GOTTA SEE IT: Babcock’s reaction is just PERFECT

It’s no secret that Mike Babcock is in Paris, France to watch this summer’s IIHF World Championships. The working vacation for the Toronto Maple Leafs head coach took him to Sweden’s 6-2 victory over Germany last night, a game that featured one of Babcock’s young disciples Willie Nylander.

It’s unclear whether or not Nylander knew that his head coach was in attendance, but regardless he put on a show for his bench boss with a PERFECT wrist shot that went top corner past the German netminder. 

When the camera panned the crowd searching for Babcock’s reaction, there he was beaming like a proud papa:

That’s one satisfied looking Babs! Leafs fans certainly hope to see more of this from both parties next season.
