When Pittsburgh Penguins captains Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Chris Kunitz stepped to center ice to accept the Prince of Wales Trophy last night, the celebration was what you might describe as “subdued”. While the team rejected the silly superstition of not touching the award, they also didn’t celebrate with much fanfare… at least not on the ice.

Check out this video below and go behind the scenes immediately following the Pens’ HUGE game 7 victory as they celebrate with the Prince of Wales Trophy in the PPG Paints Arena home team locker room:

How cool is that? Not only do we get to see the team posing with the trophy, but we also get to see the Chris Kunitz receive his first Player of the Game award of 2016-17 and the post-game speech from head coach Mike Sullivan. Awesome stuff here from the Pens, hopefully we get to see much more behind the scenes stuff like this in next week’s Stanley Cup Final!
