Gotta See It: Last night’s catfish culprit in Pittsburgh gets busted by police

Rest easy, Penguins fans: the Catfish Catapulter has been apprehended.

One dedicated Nashville Predators fan managed to accomplish the impossible last night. He smuggled a Tennessee catfish passed security at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh and managed to toss the ray-finned fish onto the ice in a display of support for his team. Even more incredible is the story of how he managed to perform the feat.

Wow. That’s commitment. Unfortunately, the poor misguided soul is now facing serious criminal charges for his disturbance.

That seems a bit harsh, no? It’s understandable that the Penguins and their in-arena staff, especially security, might be a bit embarrassed about the developments, but throwing this guy in jail seems like a bit of a drastic measure. In any case kudos for smuggling a catfish in your shorts, Catfish Man!
