Gotta See It: Team celebrates championship with $400 of fast food!

We’ve all been there before. You’ve been out too late partying with your best buds. Maybe you’ve had a few too many cold ones and your judgement is impaired. Not to the point where you’d do anything really stupid, but definitely past the point where you can make rational decisions regarding fast food consumption. So, of course, you get your driver to hit up the McDonald’s drive-thru on the way home. Well, congratulations, you are now on the level of Calder Cup champion.

Because that’s exactly of the AHL league champion Grand Rapids Griffins celebrated their Calder Cup victory over the Syracuse Crunch last night.

We’re not going to judge. We all indulge in fast food every now and then, but we’re just not sure it’s worthy of what should be such a momentous occasion. I mean, you just won the Calder Cup and now you’re jonesing for a Big Mac and fries? Actually… that does sound pretty good.
