Great news for Patrik Laine and the Winnipeg Jets!

It's probably the best news of the past forthnight.

Patrik Laine is finally cleared for contact and he practiced today in a regular jersey! "We got a good workout on the ice" said Laine. "It was nice to get that yellow jersey off."

Asked if he was ready to play tomorrow Laine answered: "I don't think so, maybe a couple more practice with the team, then i'll be ready to play." said Laine. "I feel a little bit tired, but the head feels OK."

Paul Maurice then confirmed that Laine wasn't an option for tomorrow's game and that there was no decisions made for tuesday's game. "I guess that's a possibility, but we're waiting for the next day to make sure...If he's coming at the rink tomorrow and he feels strong, then we'll start thinking about the next night." said Maurice.
