Progress is good and encouraging for three Boston Bruins forwards on Tuesday. The team has confirmed that Brad Marchand, David Backes, and Ryan Spooner, all in regular contact sweaters, took part in practice. 

Both Brad Marchand and David Backes participated in the team’s training session ahead of Sunday’s game against the Edmonton Oilers. Marchand (undisclosed injury) sported a red non-contact jersey, while Backes (colon surgery) was able to take contact. On the other hand, David Krejci and Jake DeBrusk were not present for the morning skate.
