Gudbranson leaves the game after Anders Lee slew foots him into the end boards

If you’re not watching tonight’s opening game in the Pittsburgh Penguins and New York Islanders game, well let’s just say you’re missing an absolute BARN BURNER.

With the game tied 2-2 midway through the third period, Isles captain Anders Lee tripped up Penguins blue liner Erik Gudbranson, sending him crashing feet first into the end boards.

The Islanders managed to kill off the ensuing penalty and Gudbranson has NOT returned. 

Meanwhile, Isles blue liner put his team up 3-2 with just seven minutes to go:
