Fatigue and stress are no reason to forget the fans!

With the second round spot now clinched, the Senators have a few precious short days to rest and recover. With an imposing matchup against the Rangers, you would expect the Ottawa crew to be focused on themselves and trying to shut out every distraction possible.

However, you don't need a lot of insight into the Senator's culture to know this reclusive lifestyle wouldn't happen. The team has always been close to his fans and we had yet one more example of this yesterday. After a grueling 6th game won in overtime, the Sens went back to Ottawa and arrived late in the evening. It was no reason for coach Guy Boucher to forget the fans however.

What a man! You can see it was genuine and authentic. He wasn't forced to do it, he simply wanted to shake the fans' hands and share the moment with them.

The Senators is a top notch organization from top to bottom.
