We have seen commentators getting caught swearing or saying ridiculous while on the air, but never to this extent.

On Friday during the second game of the series between the Montreal Canadiens and Philadelphia Flyers, French commentator Martin McGuire of 98,5 Sports flipped out without knowing that his mike was still on during a commercial break.

While the noise of the commercial break rolls, you can still hear McGuire getting angry at the angles of the camera chosen by the NHL and the director who picked the camera angles.

In different short videos posted on social media, McGuire has gone viral and has been asked to be fired after he said that - with expletive words - the aerial camera was awful, that he was sick of it and then, went on to threaten the director - calling him out as a f***ing idiot of American and saying he wanted to punch him in the face.

He is referring to all of the American workers from NBC that were brought into the bubbles of Toronto and Edmonton to cover the NHL action during the playoff tournament.

Geez. Take a chill pill McGuire!

Moments later, McGuire was made aware that all of Quebec have heard him flipped out and swearing on the air, and apologized for his words.

For those who understand French, here is how it came out on the air :

Always remember to turn off your microphone during the break, especially when you’re angry!
