Habs GM may have an ace up his sleeve!

After their disastrous first 10 games, the Montreal Canadiens are trying to get their season going before it is too late to secure a playoff spot.

While there are lots of trade rumors surrounding the team, GM Marc Bergevin could have an ace up his sleeve and surprise everyone by signing a new player form Europe or the KHL and bringing him in the NHL.

That is according to reporter Elliotte Friedman from Sportsnet who thinks the Habs are looking hard over Europe right now.

''It sounds like Montreal is going to make a push into European/KHL free agency, too. Not sure about specific names, but they are looking around.''

It'll be interesting to see which player they have in mind.
