Habs GM spotted at rival game, continues to fuel rumors of blockbuster trade.

It looks like the Montreal Canadiens and the New York Islanders may be having some very serious trade discussions, at least that's what the behavior of Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin would appear to indicate.

Bergevin has been spotted at the Barclays Center on a number of occasions this season leading to rampant trade speculation, with some even connecting him to Islanders Captain John Tavares.

Now Islanders insider Arthur Staples is reporting that Bergevin was once again at the Barclays Center on Sunday night, with Staples even joking that "He's seen almost as many Islanders games this year as me."

It now seems abundantly clear that Bergevin is seriously scouting a potential move with the Islanders, and given the current performance of his team that comes as no surprise, the question now becomes whether or not that could really be a blockbuster move for a player like Tavares, or if it will be a relatively minor trade.
