Habs have a crazy plan to bring in a second Shea Weber in Montreal!

The Montreal Canadiens would like to have two Shea Weber in their lineup and it's hard to blame them because who wouldn't? According to french station RDS, the management plan to do that would be to have big boy Eric Gelinas to model his game in the AHL to become more like the veteran superstar.

Gelinas himself acknowleged that was actually the plan he was following after signing a 1-year AHL contract with the team.

Drafted 54th overall in 2009, Gelinas did have a couple of very good seasons in New Jersey, even notching 29 points in 2013-14 and definitely has some untapped potential but he has a cannon of a shot and the offensive potential is there, his defensive game is the main reason he's been dropped by a couple of teams already so this is a major trick he'll try to pull off.

A plan so crazy it might actually work?
