This just in, the Montreal Canadiens have signed the recently acquired Josh Anderson to a seven year contract worth $5.5 million per season.
Check it out:
Suffice it to say that that's a HUGE contract for a relatively unproven player.
Anderson was acquired from the Columbus Blue Jackets earlier this week in exchange for Max Domi and a 3rd round pick. The 6 foot, 3 inch, 222 pound winger put up just one goal and four points in 26 games with the Blue Jackets this past season. He's one season removed from a 27 goal, 47 point campaign however.
