It was a feisty first period between the New York Rangers and the Tampa Bay Lightning, and it all ended up leading to a fight.
However, it was one heck of a battle as two of the NHL baddest heavyweights dropped the gloves. Michael Haley did not back down from Pat Maroon and we had a good bout going.
It was pretty much a stalemate for the first minute of the fight, however, Haley took out Maroon with one strong punch knockout that sent the Lightning forward to the ice.
Not only that, Maroon was forced to head to the dressing room for repairs.
