Hall of Famer Guy Lafleur to undergo risky heart surgery tomorrow

This just in courtesy of TSN radio host Tony Marinaro, legendary Montreal Canadiens forward Guy Lafleur is scheduled to undergo quadruple bypass surgery on his heart tomorrow.

This is obviously a serious surgery, but it’s important to note that more than 95 percent of people who undergo coronary bypass surgery do not experience serious complications, and the risk of death immediately after the procedure is only 1–2 percent.

In any case, here’s hoping the very best guy Lafleur and his family during this nerve wracking time.
