Have the Canadiens mismanaged Alex Galchenyuk?

It sure looks like it...

There are many players to blame for the Montreal Canadiens' awful start of the 2017-18 season. However, many fans and journalists tend to put all the blame on Alex Galchenyuk's shoulders. It is fair to say he could've played better, and that he could've shown a little more motivation since the start of September.

But what about the team's management? A bunch of people believe Claude Julien and Marc Bergevin have mismanaged the 23-year-old foward lately. As a matter of fact, Bergevin kind of acknowledged that he doesn't really know what to do with him yesterday, during a press conference:

"When everything goes wrong, the first thing my hockey staff and I do is take a look at ourselves in the mirror. We wondered if we showed him too many videos or if we give him too much information. We have decided to slow down and that we will come back with more later. We hope he will get better eventually. Actually, he already did."

But that isn't all:

"We are wondering how we can help him. Sometimes, we just leave him alone... We hope, we hope... It's true that it's been six years already, but he's only 23. He's frustrated too, he wants to be successful."

Are you worried about how Julien and Bergevin have been treating the young forward this year?
