Dreger calls trade from Hawks, then retracts it...
Twitter

In the past weeks, we’ve heard rumours that either Corey Crawford or Robin Lehner could be traded by the Chicago Blackhawks and things got real on Friday.

TSN’s Darren Dreger first confirmed that the Hawks have acquired the rights to young KHL goal Ilya Sorokin from the New York Islanders. Russian pundits had recently started talking about this pending move.

Moments later, he denied that the transaction took place.

While Sorokin has been doing great in the KHL this season, posting 25-9-3 record, along with a 1.50 goal against average and .936 save percentage with the CSKA Moscow.

Will he be moved?
