The Chicago Blackhawks are aware they need to get better, especially now that they’re watching the postseason for the second consecutive spring…

The team started making important changes this past season when they fired Joel Quenneville and replaced him with Jeremy Colliton, but more adjustments need to be made this summer via the trade and free-agent market.

However, the Hawks aren’t sitting on their laurels. The season might be over but Chicago is studying all options and the staff is greatly involved.

On Tuesday night, coach Colliton was spotted in Colorado and was later seen sitting with the scouts at the third game of the series between the San Jose Sharks and the Avalanche.

The Hawks’ hard work will pay off and fans are getting excited especially since Chicago won the lottery and moved up to the third overall selection in the draft in June. They hold a lot of power with that pick.

It is believed that sometimes we need to move backward to move forward and it might be the time now for the Hawks to get going. Colliton is surely doing all he can to help, and that includes checking out the rival teams in the postseason.
