With his third season starting soon, many are looking at David Pastarnak’s direction to see how far the young Bruin has come along. During the off-season, he added five pounds of muscle, bringing his total weight to 189 pounds.

“The [World Cup] is done, so now all of my focus is on being as ready as I can for this upcoming season,” he told Joe Haggerty. “I feel way bigger, very comfortable on the ice, and I obviously feel really good right now.”

With this being his contract year, his motivation must be at its highest, and he’ll need to step it up as he’s able to fill in the void left by the departure of Loui Eriksson.

This is the year that he unleashes his offensive beast within that caught everyone’s attention.
