Head Coach acknowledges himself to be on the “Hot Seat”

It's always one of the most interesting race : which coach is going to be fired first, because we know there'll be one!

We can almost feel it coming as the season progresses and teams reach the bottom of the standings. Rumors start to crawl into the arena's hall and soon coachs become defensive during their interview.

Willie Desjardins was a favorite to win the first-fired-coach race but a surprising 4-win streak bought him some time. Now the team is winless in 7 straight games and the Canucks have been held scoreless during four of those. 

Interviewed today, Desjardins admitted that "it's a fair thing to say" he's on the hot seat right now, "especially when you're not scoring". Vancouver's coach then reinstated the faith he has in his players and how much he likes his team as it is right now.
