Vancouver Canucks captain Henrik Sedin reached an important milestone last night against the Tampa Bay Lightning, playing in his 1,300th game in the NHL! Henrik has two goals and added 32 assists for a total of 34 points in 52 games played this season.

The Canucks lost that game by a score of 4-2.

The Swedish forward, drafted third overall by Vancouver in 1999, has 239 goals and 816 assists for a total of 1,055 points in 1,300 games played in the NHL. He also added 78 points in 105 playoff games. Henrik won three individual awards since the start of his career.

He'll become a free agent at the end of the season, and he informed Canucks management that he would not make a decision until the end of the year.

The Canucks are currently seventh in the Pacific division with a record of 21-25-6. They will play their next game on Tuesday against the Florida Panthers
