The Tampa Bay Lightning eliminated the New York Islanders in six games in the Eastern Conference finals, moving on to face the Dallas Stars in the Stanley Cup final on Thursday night. It didn’t take long for the National Hockey League to release the official schedule for the Cup final.

The battle begins Saturday evening and while most fans might have expected for games to take place every second day, as it did in the both the Eastern and Western Conference finals, the NHL has decided to hold Game 4 and Game 5 on back to back days.

If the final goes the whole way and determines a winner in seven contests, the last bit of NHL action for this weird 2019-20 season will happen on Wednesday September 30th.

All games, expect for the first one of the ultimate series on Monday, start at 8ET pm. It will be half an hour earlier for Game 1.

The Lightning will be considered the home team in Games 1, 2, 5, and 7 after earning more points than the Stars in the regular season.

Dallas has been idle since Sept. 14 after eliminating the Vegas Golden Knights in five games in the Western Conference Final.

Which team do you believe will win it all?
