Highly touted prospect could get cut by NHL team
Keystone Press

It is being reported that Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Mikhail Sergachev is not a complete lock to make the team this year.

Joe Smith of the TB Times is reporting that Steve Yzerman has been impressed with the young Russian prospect but still believes that there is still work to be done.  Sergachev could very well start the year off in the NHL but could easily be sent down for development purposes. Sergachev was brought over to the Lightning in a blockbuster trade with the Montreal Canadiens which saw Jonathan Drouin go the other way. Sergachev won the Memorial Cup with the Windsor Spitfires last season.
