Training camp officially began today for the Bruins players who starred in the World Cup of Hockey.

Of those present at today’s practice, both World Cup winners Bergeron and Marchand, and their competitor teammate Zdeno Chara trained alongside each other.

However, one name stands out more than those three, and that is that of Christian Ehrhoff. Signing a PTO with the Bruins a few days prior, he officially started donning the Spoked-B jersey today at practice.

The 6-foot-2, 196-pound defenseman received praises from head coach Claude Julien.

“He’s a good-sized defenseman, skates well and moves the puck well,” explained Julien, who witnessed Ehrhoff first-hand. Paired with Big Z, Team Europe battled Team Canada in the finals of the World Cup of Hockey.

“If he comes here and competes the same way then he’s somebody that could make things interesting for us,” he added.
