Hockey Canada announces four coaches for World Championship.

Team Canada is taking the upcoming inaugural World Cup of Hockey very seriously, and on Monday the organization announced a major line up in regards to their coaching staff. An official report from the Hockey Canada website has revealed the names of four coaches who will be anchoring Team Canada behind the bench, including two current NHL coaches and one coach who was until this season an NHL head coach.

The title of head coach will belong to Bill Peters, currently the coach of the Carolina Hurricanes, joining him will be Ottawa Senators head coach Dave Cameron, former Minnesota Wild head coach Mike Yeo, former Maple Leafs assistant coach Andrew Brewer and Misha Donskov who has been behind the bench several times for Canada already, including with Peters at the IIHF tournament.

Hockey Canada President Tom Renney released the following statement:

This group brings experience and a continuity that will serve us well not only at worlds, but as we look toward the World Cup of Hockey in September. There's been a lot of work done over the last month by the management team to put this coaching staff into place, and more to come as we start pulling together our roster, but I'm confident with the direction and the staff as we look to defend our championship title in May.

Canada is definitely going all out to become the first winners of the World Cup of Hockey.
