Hyman’s post-game interview interrupted by a singing Mitch Marner

In case you missed it, the Toronto Maple Leafs managed to get past the Columbus Blue Jackets by a score of 4-2 last night and it was due largely to the work ethic of Leafs forward Mitch Marner.

Marner had another dazzling assist last night on John Tavares’ game tying goal that effectively took the wind right out of the surging Blue Jackets’ sails. In case you missed it, check out the extra effort by Marner on this play to make sure that he hooks the puck back to Tavares in the slot:

Outstanding awareness on this play by Marner. This kid has been the team’s MVP for the first two months, no doubt about it.

Thankfully for Leafs fans, Mitch was just getting warmed up with this assist last night. During the postgame media scrum, a very boisterous Marner could be heard singing loudly while the media asked questions of Leafs forward Zach Hyman.
