ICYMI: Two NHLers arrested after late-night brawl at New York nightclub

Not a good look for the players involved, or their teams. C’mon boys…

In case you missed it, Sonny Milano of the Columbus Blue Jackets and A.J. Greer of the Colorado Avalanche were arrested this weekend after allegedly assaulting a 28-year-old man over a disputed bill.

The dispute and the alleged assuault took place at 1 Oak, a nightclub in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. According to CBC Sports the victim reportedly suffered injuries to his neck and bicep and complained of pain in his jaw and ribs. He called police but said he didn’t need medical care.

The Blue Jackets’, Milan’s parent club, have commented on the alleged assault saying, “We are aware of the reports involving Sonny. We are reviewing the situation and will not be commenting further at this time.”

The Avalanche have yet to address the allegations, however.
