Jarome Iginla finally scored his 600th goal in the NHL.
He did so last night when his team, the Colorado Avalanche defeated the Los Angeles Kings 4-1.
It was an incredible moment. Iginla became only the 19th player in NHL's history to score that many goals.
As a Flames fan, my first reaction was to be happy that Iginla reached this milestone, but it left a sour taste in my mouth, wishing he could've done it in a Flames' uniform.
Iggy still scored more than 500 goals with the Flames, but I couldn't fight the nostalgia from his times in Calgary from my memory last night.
Good job Iggy, thank you for being an awesome hockey player.
