Former NHL goalie Ilya Bryzgalov expressed his anger towards the officiating in the second game of the series between the Boston Bruins and Carolina Hurricanes and, as you know, he could not hold back.

Bryzgalov echoed what Hurricanes head coach Rod Brind’Amour had to say about officials during the contest. As you know, Brind’Amour was fined for complaining about the referees’ work when the Bruins scored in Game 1 after knocking what appeared to be a smothered puck out of Petr Mrazek’s glove in what turned out to be a 4-3 Boston’s overtime victory.

This time, it was after the Hurricanes had one goal called back as the officials ruled Teuvo Teravainen had made contact with Tuukka Rask before a Hurricanes tap-in.

Brind’Amour might have learned his lesson and stayed quiet, but Bryzgalov ripped the officials on his Twitter account, with many fans agreeing to his statement.

That’s right, Bryz!

While Brind’Amour was fined a whopping $25,000 for his post-game comments, Bryzgalov can say all he wants and fans appear to love it.

The fine did not put a damper on the Hurricanes, who won Game 2 by the score of 3-2 on Thursday night. The team ended up paying the tab and added an extra $17, for the man who wore 17 in red for so many years as a player.

We can’t wait to see what Bryzgalov has to say during Game 3. We bet he will keep a close eye on the officials.
