So many NHL clubs are struggling between the pipes with several teams, like the Pittsburgh Penguins, Edmonton Oilers, Philadelphia Flyers and Florida Panthers, dealing with injured netminders, which is affecting their performance overall.

According to TSN insider Bob McKenzie, one team could be making an important move soon to solve that very issue. The Panthers might trade with the Winnipeg Jets to fix their dire situation in between the pipes.

McKenzie suggests that Michael Hutchinson is an option for the Panthers, as Winnipeg has a large goaltending depth chart with Hutchinson, Connor Hellebuyck, Steve Mason and Eric Comrie

Hutchinson has played 99 career NHL games, posting a .951 save percentage with a 1.73 goals-against average in the AHL with the Manitoba Moose.

McKenzie believes Hutchinson is available and could help the Panthers land a stronger backup for James Reimer as Roberto Luongo is sidelined once again this season.

The Panthers will have to make a decision soon, and we could have an imminent trade coming up.
