30-year-old forward was diagnosed with a concussion

The Pittsburgh Penguins find themselves in a very unlucky position as another player from their roster is out due to a concussion.

The 30-year-old left winger Patric Hornqvist was diagnosed with a concussion and he’s been sent back to Pittsburgh. He will not travel with the team for now.

The Pittsburgh Penguins mentioned that he was not necessarily ruled out for rest of the trip though.

It’s another heavy news for the Pens as they announced earlier today that Kris Letang will not be traveling with the team and no date has been announced for a possible return on the ice. Mike Sullivan told the media “that Letang’s injury is a hockey injury and he’s rehabbing. Says it ISN’T a concussion or related to his previous stroke.
