Anaheim Ducks head coach Randy Carlyle revealed an important update on John Gibson's health status after the team's practice on Tuesday. The 24-year-old goaltender left practice with what appeared to be a right hand injury.

Finally, the reason of his early exit is less dramatic than expected, and it's actually a bit funny. Yes, Gibson was hurt during practice, but it was not at his right hand. As Randy Carlyle said himself, Gibson was hit in his «private parts».

Obviously, that's a huge relief for the Ducks, because Gibson is a really important piece of their team. In ten games played this season, he has a record of 5-3-1, a goals against average of 2.80 ans a save percentage of 0,921. He was drafted 39th overall by Anaheim in 2011.

In 128 career games played in the NHL, Gibson has a record of 67-40-14 with a goals against average of 2.26 and a save percentage of 0,922.
