Injury Report: Excellent news for Vegas’ Subban
Keystone Press

Forced to play their their 5th string goalie tonight against the Vancouver Canucks, it’s safe to say that the expansion Vegas Golden Knights have had historically bad luck with injuries in their inaugural campaign. Teenager Dylan Ferguson is expected to be the emergency starter tonight, but it may not be long until netminder Malcolm Subban makes his way back between the pipes.

Subban made a surprise appearance yesterday at practice, indicating that a return to the lineup may be on the horizon. The 23-year-old goaltender acquired off of waivers from the Boston Bruins earlier this season has been out of the team’s lineup since October 22nd with a lower body injury.

With just three games over the next week, the Knights can afford to take their time with Subban, but don’t be surprised if he works his way into a least one game during that span.
