Injury report: Forward placed on IR, Sabres make call up

The Buffalo Sabres have announced yet another injury.

Jacob Josefson was spotted in a walking boot yesterday - he's listed as week-to-week with a lower body injury.

Taylor Fedun has had good success as a defenseman in the AHL, putting up 156 points in 295 games played over 6 seasons. The undrafted defenseman has 14 total NHL points in 39 games.

In other news, goalie Robin Lehner missed practice Thursday - he felt under the weather and his condition will be evaluated today in anticipation of tonight's game against the Vancouver Canucks. 

Zemgus Girgensons blocked a shot against the Vegas Golden Knights and is day-to-day. Veteran Josh Gorges is also day-to-day with a lower body injury.

Finally, Zach Bogosian and Justin Falk are both still considered week-to-week cases.

The injury bug is hitting hard.
